The Small Business Jobs Act, signed September 27, gives businesses access to increased tax deductions, enhanced credit opportunities and more. But many of the provisions expire December 31, 2010. The American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) has released a resource to help businesses take advantage of these opportunities. Download “Short Term Provisions of Small Business Jobs Act,” which explains taxable income exclusions, 50 percent bonus depreciation, health insurance deductions and increased lending opportunities like loan fee reductions that expire at the end of the year.
